Studio Location

My teaching studio is based at Hope Mill in East Manchester, 113 Pollard Street, M4 7JA, where my own studio is also located. You can read more about the Mill here
Hope Mill is an easy 20 min walk from the City centre; is accessible by car with free secure onsite parking; by bus and the new Metrolink line in 2012.
Click for map.
Directions by car

Approach from the Alan Turing Way if arriving from the North or from Trinity Way if coming via the city centre or the south. Access to Pollard Street is via Beswick street only. Have a good look at the map below, and please don't rely on your sat nav.

AWOL Studios are in the Mill just past Kimgary Fabrics. Keep an eye out for directional signs to Adorable Tots who are also based at Hope Mill. When arriving at the Mill you will see the empty grassed area opposite, a banner for Adorable Tots and heavy black metal gates framing a driveway with access to the car park and Mill entrance. There is no visible sign that says Hope Mill - so take a good look at the photo below so you know what the Mill looks like! The car park is accessible down the drive on your right. Please park courteously.

From late 2012 you will be able to catch the new Metroline extension to Hope Mill. Trams run regularly from the city centre and other destinations. Please check with Metrolink for departure times and costs.
