Studio

Hope Mill, is a beautiful Grade II* listed building built in 1824 as a cotton spinning and fustian weaving mill for Joseph Clarke & Sons. our studio has a unique and innovative design.

The studio is bright, airy and flooded with natural light. Contemporary in construction, it still utilises the natural curves and texture of the mill. One wall has 3 panels which can be rotated into the corridor opening the studio up to into a creative open space.

The Studio enjoys panoramic views across Manchester City centre to the Cheshire and Derbyshire hills beyond.

Facilities
The Mill has a lift (somewhat Victorian in character!) and a beautiful main spiral stone staircase.  We have the benefit of central heating in winter (a real bonus compared to other Mill conversions), shared toilet facilities, and equipment washing area.

Accessibility
Unfortunately the Mill is not fully wheelchair accessible or DDA compliant.  If you have any specific access needs, please let me know before booking.  I try my best to ensure my courses are as accessible and inclusive as possible.
