Student Open Exhibition

Important Details

Open Submission process:

• Step 1: Complete + Send the digital submission form above
• Step 2: You will see an on-screen notification in green text telling you your form was successful sent
• Step 3: We will manually email you to thank you for your submission. This may take a few days, but if in doubt please email us to double check if there have been any technical issues.
• Step 4: After submission deadline, we will reply by email during the week of 28 Sept – 2 Oct, accepting you into our Open Student Exhibition and let you know how many artworks you can display (this is an inclusive exhibition and selection is due to limited wall space only)
  • We will also remind you about other important details

What can I exhibit in the Exhibition?

Any subject is welcome (all artwork will require approval by the exhibition curator prior to being accepted), but still life, landscape, abstract, portrait, and nude life drawings/paintings are all welcome.

Maximum size: Aprox A2 (42 x 60cm), or 60 x 60cm

Only artwork wholly created by your own hand on either traditional surfaces and/or digital screens (printed) will be accepted (sorry, no AI).

• Paintings
• Mixed-media
• Sketchbooks

These can be on paper, canvas, board, in sketchbooks, etc
If artwork is framed, use lightweight frames only please

They can be displayed on the walls or table tops for the duration of the event

Art work DROP OFF times

• Wed 7th October between 2 – 6 pm
• Thurs 8th October between 2 – 7 pm
• Sat 10th October between 10-11am
  • before the AWOL Open studios event begins

Please bring your artwork to studio 516 Creative Art Courses.

Art work COLLECTION times

• Sat 10th October between 7 – 8 pm
  • after the AWOL Open studios event has ended
• Wed 14th October between 2 – 6 pm
• Thurs 15th October between 2 – 7 pm

IMPORTANT

1. Artwork is exhibited and left in our studio at your own risk – we do not hold insurance for lost or damaged artwork)
2. Artwork can be for sale, or labelled NFS (not for sale)
   • 10% of the sale price will be deducted to cover 3rd party fees and admin expenses
   • A voluntary donation in support of our charity Kidneys for Life, will be deducted from your sale price should you wish to make a donation
