Good course explains the basics in a short time”
I had a very enjoyable weekend working with this smaller group of students than usual due to Covid-19 restrictions. It did mean I was able to offer more 1:1 support where needed, but honestly the group did fabulously well anyway. Roy considered the course to be “a good introduction to the subject. From correct pencils to selection of paints and papers.” This is exactly what this course is about – providing a solid foundation for students to gain knowledge and confidence for the start of the creative art journeys. Read further to see what the other students thought.
“As a complete novice I would recommend to try this course. All good thanks.”
“Amazing balance of technique and creativity.” I learnt how “to be experimental”. My course highlight was ” charcoal drawing.”
“Friendly atmosphere, no pressure – ideal if you think you can’t draw or paint – like me.” My course highlight was “use acrylics for the first time having had them sat at home in a box for 12 months.”
“Gives a good grounding in the techniques for drawing and an introduction to different paint mediums.” I learnt “how to look at something properly before drawing it. How to check proportions and correct them if needed.” My course highlight was that “all of it was a revelation. very well planned course.”
