Begin to draw + paint: 14 – 15 January 2017
The begin to draw + paint course this weekend was great fun. Loads of information, both practical and a bit of theory kept us really busy, but we still had time for a lot of chatting and making new friends, sharing stories about each of our creative journeys, and learning loads by the end of Sunday.
I had a very full studio with 9 students learning together. All beginners, it was great to see them develop and discover new things along the way – new techniques, new materials, new methods of drawing and painting.
Here are a few quotes from the students themselves. read on to discover what they thought about the course.
“Really helpful tutor who gave tips to each person, was kind to those of that weren’t quite getting everything. Plus yo get to try different types of art. The highlight was getting a ‘Starter Pack’ of materials so I can keep practicing once the class is over. trying materials I otherwise wouldn’t have known about.” Christina E
“Instructive, helpful, a good experience, knowledgeable teacher, relaxed atmosphere. The water colour session was excellent but overall the course has been a good experience.” Brendan B
“The highlight of the weekend was the acrylic painting, camaraderie, and perspective drawing techniques.” Sarah K
