Cityscapes: urban sketching – Sept 21
“A strong focus on technique so you can then work on that later to improve longer term as well.”
Craig M
A small group of students braved the wonderful mild early autumn weather and enjoyed a day and half of drawing outdoors around Ancoats. We enjoyed the atmosphere of sketching outdoors on Saturday afternoon, while drawing amidst the stream of Manchester City supporters making their way to the stadium – a real urban buzz of energy in the air. Sunday was spent outdoors all day where we were challenged with drawing a traditional Victorian Manchester brick building. We all enjoyed ourselves, the challenges and the successes. Read further to find out what the students thought of their experience.
