Mystery of the human form

Week 3

Mid way through our 5 week course with stunning results to show for it. The students worked so hard this week I felt so proud for them. I know it was a big push with a lot of risk taking – but so well worth it!! Here are some results.

These head studies were completed in less than 60 minutes and to me reflect so much energy, spontaneity freedom and passion; creative mark making and I think for most of the students, a substantial departure from their usual more controlled approach to drawing the human form.

So what’s in store for next week? Drawing from a life model with the same intent and freedom of expression. Can’t wait!
