Event Structure
Social
This is a relaxed social event for everyone interested in making art: from absolute-beginners to experienced artist. Everyone who draws or makes art, or wants to make art, is welcome to attend and enjoy the relaxed supportive and creative environment of my art studio.
Pop up exhibition
Bring along one or two of your recently completed artworks – anything from a quick sketch to a finished painting, collage or mixed-media artwork. Let’s grab this opportunity to celebrate everyone’s achievements. Pop up exhibitions are a great way to celebrate your work and ask for supportive feedback if you wish. Framed, unframed, or in a sketchbook – the studio has wall space and table tops ready to receive your artwork for the evening.
Benefits of attending
This art social event is your opportunity to enjoy what every artist who has a dedicated art studio benefits from – being part of an artist group, like-minded friendships, networking, learning and sharing from others with the same interests as you.
Access
My studio is on the 5th floor of a 200-year-old building in the heart of industrialised Ancoats. A beautiful enigmatic building, but sadly not access friendly. Please contact me if you have access requirements to check suitability.
Photography + video
Photos and videos will be taken to further celebrate the event and everyone’s creative spirits. By attending, you agree to have your image and your artwork shared on my website and social media.
By the end of the social event …
Attendees will have enjoyed escaping the ordinary, and feel revitalised and rejuvenated by having stepped into a world of creativity and built their creative confidence by knowing they have found their rightful place within Manchester’s creative community. By being there – you create the event.
