Youth teenage art class – June 2019
“I had fun”
Amy J
What better way to sum up the Youth-teenage Sunday art class this week than by Amy’s statement above. Students turned their attention to a classic A-level art project this week. At some point in everyone’s art education there is a need to slice vegetables in half and draw the fascinating shapes and patterns that are revealed. Tracy, the tutor, planned a superb project this week that helped the students fully engage with the subject matter, learn to see detail, shape and colour, and learn new ways to use their materials. There were some stunning results achieved in what is quite a short class time. Read further to find out what the students thought of their experience.
